In 2014 we Stephan & Denise Sutter-Reichenbach (2nd generation) took over the responsibility for the traditional business.

We want to show this not only with our hospitality, but also with the restaurant and the in-house confectionery, which offer a rich selection of regional and international specialties," says Stephan Sutter.
The rich menu, which also includes many vegetarian dishes, is supplemented every three months with a seasonal menu.
"We cultivate Appenzell cuisine, and to do so we rely on locally raised meat and locally grown vegetables"
